This coming Tuesday, US President Trump is set to land in the United Kingdom for a distinctive second state visit.
Trump, joined by his wife Melania, was hosted by the former queen in mid-2019.
What is a Formal Visit?
A state visit represents a ceremonial trip to the UK by the head of a country.
Such events are typically planned at the king or queen's bidding, based on official recommendations.
In addition to their role as prestigious gatherings with traditional displays, governments use these visits to further Britain's interests.
Traditionally, US presidents in their final term—like President Trump—are not offered a state visit.
Instead, they are invited for a light refreshment with the royal figurehead, as happened with former presidents Obama and George W Bush.
Nonetheless, in early this year, the UK leader offered the president an invitation from King Charles III during a US conference to discuss a bilateral agreement.
The Prime Minister said the offer stood as a "genuinely momentous" and "unprecedented" event.
He noted it was a "great, great honour" to be granted the request.
Timing for Donald Trump's Official Journey?
The president and first lady plan to touch down in the UK on the sixteenth of September and leave on Thursday 18 September.
King Charles is set to welcome the president and first lady at the historic fortress.
It occurs just a short time after the commander-in-chief's four days in the Scottish region, and held talks with politicians and stopped by his personal resorts.
What will Trump do over the course of the State Visit?
Day One
When touching down in the UK, the guests will be met by the American envoy.
A delegated noble plans to receive them on behalf of the sovereign.
Day Two
The visitors are set to journey to the historic site and receive a welcome by the royal heirs, before being officially received by the monarch and consort.
A ceremonial gunfire will sound in the town and at the iconic fortress.
Post-luncheon, the president will visit St George's Chapel in the castle grounds to place a tribute on the grave of the former monarch.
Subsequently, there is scheduled a flight demonstration by UK and US fighter planes and the display squadron.
In the evening, a gala event will occur at the castle, during which both the monarch and president will deliver remarks.
Day Three
The commander-in-chief plans to head to the prime minister's country house the estate in Buckinghamshire for a discussion with the host.
The two will examine the prime ministerial papers prior to conducting a session and a press conference.
The first lady will remain at Windsor Castle and visit the Royal Library and see the famous display, a famous miniature palace built in the 1920s.
Additionally, she plans to convene with a youth leader with Catherine, who is co-leader of the Scout Association.
Mrs Trump plans to reunite with her the president at the location prior to their departure for the United States.
Entourage Details accompanying the leader to the UK?
In his party are US Secretary of State, finance official, special envoy, senior advisor and "key personnel".
The president plans to land in the United Kingdom on his personalized, high-spec aircraft called the presidential plane.
Once on the ground, the president travels in Cadillac One—a fortified car known as "the secure car".
Multiple copies of the official car—along with several other security cars—are transported to the United Kingdom in military cargo planes prior to the president's landing.
Even though he is scheduled to undertake some short journeys by limousine in the UK, he is expected to complete most of his travelling using aircraft—as was the case in his visit to Scotland in last month.
The president is likely to bring a fleet of helicopters in tow such as the official copter which, as with the jet, isn't a specific machine but instead means any US Marine Corps aircraft ferrying the commander-in-chief.
Protection measures were increased in the last week in the wake of the fatal shooting of a conservative activist at a college in the state.
Possible Unrest during the official tour?
A coalition intends to hold a "Trump Not Welcome" demonstration in the capital on the seventeenth.
The group urged the officials to terminate the tour, stating the American leader of "rejecting environmental facts" and "siding with war criminals—{in Israel, Russia and beyond
